Mimi (Xiaojun) Jiang, Counseling Intern

Balancing family expectations, cultural values, relationships, and your own goals can start to feel like a lot. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to carry all of that alone! I work primarily with young adults, college students, Asian and Asian American clients, first-generation individuals, and LGBTQ+ adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, identity, relationships, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are balancing more than one culture or language while trying to build a life that feels true to who they are.

I also provide therapy in Mandarin (普通话) for clients who feel more comfortable expressing themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuine. Together we'll explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

I offer LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally responsive therapy where every part of your story is respected. If you're searching for a therapist near downtown Phoenix, a Mandarin-speaking therapist in Arizona, or virtual counseling anywhere in the state, I'd be glad to help. Reach out to schedule a free consultation and see if we're a good fit!
