Elise Pinkowski, LMSW
I’m passionate about helping adults navigate symptoms of anxiety, depression, family dysfunction, and insecure attachment. Many of the people I work with find themselves stuck in patterns of people-pleasing or self-criticism — trying to hold it all together while feeling disconnected inside.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate person-centered therapy with cognitive-behavioral, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches throughout the healing process. Together, we’ll work to quiet the inner critic, explore patterns that no longer serve you, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins through connection — to yourself, to others, and to your own story. So many of us have learned to perform, to please, or to shrink ourselves just to get by. I see therapy as a safe space to unlearn those patterns and rediscover your authentic self. It can be a place to breathe deeply, let go, and start fresh. If you feel this aligns with your needs, I welcome you to reach out.
