Iana Binde-Pereira, Masters Level Intern

Hello! My name is Iana (she/her/hers), and I am a clinical social work intern. I have lived in the Phoenix area my whole life. Over the past four years, I have worked with a range of children and populations within Arizona. As a native of Phoenix, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and families within my community.

I focus on a strengths-based, person-centered approach, empowering clients by recognizing and building on their unique abilities. I also incorporate a trauma-informed lens, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can heal and grow at their own pace. I believe in recognizing and empowering each client’s strengths while addressing their needs with compassion and respect. I am passionate about incorporating art therapy interventions when appropriate, as I believe creative expression can provide a valuable pathway for healing and self-exploration.

Clients can expect a warm and genuine experience in our sessions. I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and valued. With curiosity, I aim to learn more about each individual’s story and tailor our work together to meet their specific needs and goals. I look forward to working with individuals facing a wide range of presenting issues. I am committed to providing the tools and support necessary to help clients build resilience and achieve lasting growth.
