Kassandra Terry, Pre-Licensed Social Worker

Hiya! I'm Kassie.

I'm currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at Arizona State University. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural path because I genuinely enjoy getting to know people beyond the surface. I've always been fascinated by people, their stories, the ways we make sense of our experiences, and our incredible capacity for growth, even during life's most difficult seasons. It's a privilege to accompany others as they navigate change, healing, and self-discovery in a space free from judgment.

To me, therapy is more than talking to someone with an outside perspective. It's an opportunity to better understand yourself, your relationships, and the experiences that have shaped you.

One of my favorite ways to think about therapy is as a form of translation. Our minds often speak in their own language through emotions, patterns, memories, and reactions that don't always make immediate sense. Together, we'll work to translate those experiences into something clearer, helping you understand yourself in a way that feels meaningful and aligned with your values.

I take a client-centered approach, which means therapy is tailored to you. Every person brings a unique story, strengths, and challenges, and I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood both in and outside of our sessions.

Creating an inclusive and affirming environment is deeply important to me. I don't believe cultural humility is an end goal. It is an ongoing practice. I value learning from every client and growing in how I show up as a therapist so that our work together feels collaborative, respectful, and authentic.

Whether you're hoping to better understand yourself, navigate a difficult season, or simply have a place where you can show up exactly as you are, I'd love the opportunity to walk alongside you.
