Renz Narciso, Intern Therapist

Hi, my name is Renz (she/ her/ hers)! I’m an intern therapist who is passionate about helping people of all ages feel supported, understood, and empowered in their lives. I’m currently completing my Master’s in Social Work at Arizona State University (ASU).

I have over 8 years’ experience working with teens and young adults, especially around school, identity, and major life changes. As a young adult case manager, I worked with youth who were involved in the juvenile justice system, received high‑needs behavioral health services, were coming into their own as part of the LGBTQ+ community, transitioning to independent living, or parenting.

Being a Filipino immigrant myself, I understand how culture, family, and community shape the way we experience mental health—and I bring that perspective into the work I do with clients. I am dedicated to helping individuals who are also trying to understand how to heal from cultural and systemic trauma and help them build an integrated and authentic self.

In sessions, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where we can explore challenges, highlight strengths, and practice tools you can use between sessions (breathing to calm panic, thought-challenging, and emotion-regulation skills). I plan to come into our healing space with a humble curiosity of where you are at and allow you to explore topics that may be sensitive without fear of judgment or misunderstanding.

Whether you’re navigating school, career decisions, family challenges, or simply wanting to take better care of your mental health, I’m here to walk alongside you.
